While Minnesota does not have the excitement that other states have, there are still some big races for the state, including the gubernatorial race.
GOVERNOR
Mark Dayton (D) Incumbent
Jeff Johnson (R)
Hannah Nicollet (I)
The results in this race have been getting closer, as Johnson keeps closing the gap on Dayton, while Nicollet stays about the same. My guess is Dayton pulls out the victory in a very close race.
US SENATE
Al Franken (D) Incumbent
Mike McFadden (R)
Steve Carlson (I)
Franken has held a steady lead in this race, and I believe that he maintains his US Senate seat very easily.
As referenced in this SurveyUSA/KSTP poll, most Minnesotans are happy with the job President Obama is doing, while almost 50% of those surveyed are unsatisfied with the job the State legislature is doing.
