Episode 14 "Stay":
Kiara (Callie's friend) is placed in another foster home after the fire to Girls United. But, after she calls Callie when someone in her foster home pulls a knife, she is removed from the home by Stef and stays with Stef and Lena. However, Callie soon realizes that Kiara is not being totally truthful. Jesus deals with Hayley being upset with him missing her solo at the dance competition, but then Hayley calms down when she realizes Jesus went to his birth mother Ana’s Alcoholics Anonymous meeting. Meanwhile, Lena and the new Principal realize that Timothy needs to be told that there are some changes that need to be made to the English curriculum so that the assessment scores will rise and they will get the grants they need to help pay the bills.
After her, Lena, Callie, and Kiara talk with a Child Protective Services representative, Stef realizes that the system is only going to send Kiara back to the same home and decides to do a house call which Mike decides to help her with. Callie and Kiara try to find a way that she won't have to go back, but are told she will have to wait on a waitlist, while Kiara considers running away. Mariana shows Mat a new dance that she wants to show Tia, and scores the highest score on the math assessments at Anchor Beach, getting an invitation to STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) group where she runs into Emma. Stef and Lena suggest to Jesus that he go to Alateen meetings, and Callie considers running away with Wyatt because she is afraid that she will be sent to live with Robert.
Then, Timothy and Lena have a confrontation about Monte’s idea to change the curriculum, while Stef and Mike head to the rental office of Kiara’s abusive foster home and try to get the husband and wife evicted. When that doesn’t work, they say they will drive by multiple times a night shining spotlights in the tenant’s windows and asking the landlord how his other tenants will feel about that. Back at Anchor Beach, Mariana decides to tell Mat that instead of an 88 she actually got a 98 on the math assessments. Monte tells Lena that Timothy will be fired if he doesn’t work within a given curriculum, and Stef comes home to discover that Kiara ran away from the Fosters home. Callie goes to meet Wyatt and give him a portrait that he will take on the road with him, but decides that she will not go with him.
After getting the situation with Kiara’s foster home squared away, Stef decides she wants to partner with Mike again but only with the approval of Lena, and Lena tells Stef that Monte had convinced her to let Brandon go on tour. And, the episode closes with Callie deciding to do her independent study project for Anchor Beach at the place where she got help being a foster child.
Episode 15 "Mother Nature":
The Adams Foster family decides to go camping to have a family bonding experience. Stef walks in on Hayley and Jesus kissing and Brandon and Lou also share a few kisses before he leaves for the weekend. Jesus rides to the campsite in Lena’s car and confides in her that his birth mother Ana is pregnant. Ana and Mike decide to find out the sex of their baby, and discover they are having a girl. Jude discovers Jesus’ tattoo, and Mariana bails him out after Stef asks him why he’s wearing a shirt. Jesus tells Stef that Ana is pregnant, and Lena and Stef discuss how to tell Mariana about Ana’s pregnancy and wonder if in fact Mike is the father.
Callie and Brandon talk about her walking in on Brandon and Lou kissing before they left to come to the campsite. Jesus can’t stop texting Hayley then discovers that she is camping too, even though her parents are out of town for the weekend, and Jesus considers sneaking away to see her. Brandon tells Jesus to tell Hayley to go home before he gets in trouble. Then, Lena takes the kids phones away when they spend more time on their phones than connecting with each other in nature. Jesus decides he needs to sneak away to find Hayley before she shows up but can’t find the right time, and Jude starts to get annoyed with the way everyone is treating him. Then, everyone decides to pick on Brandon and it comes out that he is dating Lou.
Stef can’t get away to talk to Mike so she sneaks out to call him from the campsite to find out if he is the father of Ana’s baby. Mike ignores Stef’s call, and decides to ask Ana to move in with him. Jude wakes Brandon to have him find Jesus when Jesus doesn’t return. Brandon tells Jude that Jesus snuck off to find Hayley and not to tell, but when Brandon doesn’t come back Jude decides to go talk to Stef and Lena. Then, Stef and Lena go looking for Brandon and Jesus and instead find Hayley and wonder what she is doing there.
Then Stef, Lena, and Hayley find Jesus and Brandon and decide to have a chat with Jesus and Brandon. After discussing why they didn’t tell about Hayley, they tell them that they are “stuck” with Hayley since they don’t want to send her back to an empty house. Brandon’s punishment is to be in charge of breakfast but gets mad at Callie when she throws gas on the fire. And, Jude gets angry when Callie is treating him like a baby causing everyone else to as well.
Brandon and Callie have a chat about her causing drama but he says he caused his own drama too. They talk about the past and their relationship. And Brandon talks about not wanting to rub his new relationship in Callie’s face, and she tells him that she’s happy for him and she just wants them to do what they are going to do. Brandon continues to talk to Callie about what he likes about Lou and they seem to have set their romantic feelings aside finally.
Mariana and Hayley decide that she is going to join their team. Hayley breaks the secret on Ana’s pregnancy to Mariana, and then she finds out that the moms both know and told Jesus not to tell her. To get revenge on him, Mariana tells the moms about his tattoo. They make Jesus show them and he confesses he got it at the Mexican street fair, and they then allow him to go look for Hayley.
Lena and Stef then get into an argument about Lena asking Jesus to lie about telling her first that Ana is pregnant. Lena tells Stef that she is policing them not parenting them on some things and that is why they come to Lena and not her. Lena admits that she is softer with the children sometimes more than she likes, but the children should feel safe to talk to them. Jesus decides to end the episode telling Hayley that she thinks they should break up, and Hayley reacts by telling Jesus to tell Mariana that “her dance team can go to hell.” Mariana wants to go home and then get rid of Ana because it is always something with her. Mariana also feels guilty because if she had talked to Ana then they would be able to get her to go away. Ana and Mike talk about her moving in with him as friends only. The episode closes with a family swim as Stef and Brandon throw Mariana in, then Stef pushes Lena in. Stef thinks she wins because she is the only one not in the water, until Brandon and Jude come up behind her and push Stef in.
