Tonight on The Walking Dead, we were introduced to a new character, Father Gabriel, a man who seems a bit mysterious, and Rick believes he is hiding something. The crew ran into Gabriel who was atop a large boulder, surrounded by walkers.
After saving him, Gabriel told the group that he has a church in which they could all settle in. Gabriel also informed Rick that he knew of a place where they could find food, but it was overran by nearly a dozen of walkers.
Rick grabbed Michonne, Bob, Sasha, and Gabriel and headed to this place to seek food. Meanwhile, Glenn, Maggie, and Tara found a gun store and searched it for ammunition. All the while, Daryl and Carol were scouting the woods to see if they could find supplies.
Gabriel led Rick’s crew to a food shelter. While at the place, they battled walkers in a pond of water. It seemed like these walkers were people that Gabriel did not allow in his church. Hence, Carl finding scratches outside the church's window, and writing on the wall that read, "YOU'LL BURN FOR THIS." During the battle with walkers, Bob was pulled into the water by one of them, but Sasha killed the walker to save Bob. However, after that incident, Bob was acting extremely strange. It may be that Bob got bit or scratched by the walker, but that was not revealed.
Either way, Rick’s group came out of the shelter with tons of food that they took back to the church. Back at the church, as the group was toasting with wine and enjoying themselves, Abraham Ford convinced Rick and the entire group to go to Washington D.C. with them so Eugene could save the world.
Afterward, Daryl and Carol wandered outside and suddenly a vehicle sped past them, the same vehicle Beth was captured in. Daryl and Carol hopped into a car nearby and followed.
Bob was also wandering outside in the woods, and it seemed like he was troubled by something. He probably wanted to kill himself knowing he was bit. It seemed like, back in the church, he was trying to say goodbye to Sasha. All of sudden, he was thumped on the head by a hooded man and taken away.
When Bob gained consciousness, he was surrounded by Gareth and what was left of his Terminus group. Gareth informed Bob that his crew is now known as The Hunters since they were left without a home and had to hunt for food. Later, we saw Gareth and his people chomping on pieces of meat, which happened to be meat from Bob’s left leg that they chopped off to eat.
As mentioned above, Bob’s leg could have been infected since he was probably bit by a walker, so Gareth and his crew could have been eating infected meat. Nonetheless, Gareth was back and still looking to eat human flesh.
At the same time, Rick was trying to figure out what Father Gabriel was hiding. Could he be a bad guy or is he a harmless soul? He seemed like a harmless soul, but he does have secrets, which is that he allowed a dozen of people to die outside his church.
This episode started off slowly, but it got intense in a hurry. Beth’s whereabouts may be revealed very soon, and Bob may be on his way to death, unfortunately.
