Egg freezing talk: Nikki and Cena!
The last episode of Total Divas ended with Cena asking Nikki about the syringes he found in their house. She told him they were hormones. At first he was relieved because he thought she was using drugs then he asked why she needed them. She told him about her decision to freeze her eggs so that in case she's over forty and lonely, kids would still be an option for her. He didn't make any comments and Nikki seemed worried about it because according to her, when Cena doesn't say anything, it's a bad sign.
Later, she met with Eva Marie and Nattie. Nikki explained that she was having problems with her boyfriend after Cena discovered her secret. Eva Marie also stated that she's in a tough spot because she's trying to convince her husband Jonathan to convert religions so they can have a catholic wedding.
During lunch date, she had a conversation with Cena about it for the first time since he found out. He told her that he loved her and that he's afraid of losing her. Nikki was touched by his words, especially seeing as how Cena is not used to being open about his feeling, and told him that she would stop the process if he asks her to.
In the cafe, Nicole told her sister about her decision to not freeze her eggs, which made Brie very mad because she thought that Nikki has to stop giving up everything she wants in life for Cena. They later went on a drive to visit their family. Nikki started having second thoughts after spending time with her nieces and nephews.
While training in the gym with Cena, Nikki told him that she decided to go through with the egg freezing then they agreed on how he will help her through the process.
New house and neck injury: Brie and Bryan!
Daniel Bryan and Brie were packing when Brie started talking about having kids. Her husband said he thought she didn't want kids while he is on the road but she told him that she wanted two kids before she turns 35.
The couple was backstage when Bryan complained from shoulder pain. Brie was very concerned and told him to go see a doctor.
They went to see their first house together but it didn't take them long to start arguing because Brie wanted the whole house redone and Bryan was tired of doing everything her way.
Later that day, the Bella twins went furniture shopping and had a conversation about compromising. Brie told her sister that she has been saving money for years to buy her dream house.
Brianna came home to shocking news. Her husband, who just realized his dream of becoming WWE world heavyweight champion at WrestleMania, will have to put his career on hold to have emergency neck surgery next week.
Backstage on RAW, Brie told the other divas that she's feeling terrible about having a commitment in New York the day that her husband is scheduled to have surgery. Meanwhile, Bryan was in the ring announcing the sad news to the crowd and promised he will be back stronger than ever.
Next week, Bryan underwent surgery and Brie was feeling guilty not just about not being with him but also because she was so demanding instead of focusing on priorities like living a happy life with the man she loves and making a family.
When she went home, she was so happy to see Bryan and they both apologized to each other about the argument they had about their new house.
Backstage at a live WWE event, the senior physician for the WWE Chris Amann asked to see Daniel. It turned out that his injury was more complex and will take more time to heal than expected. Brie expressed her concern because they won't make money when they're not on the road.
Girl bye: Naomi and Cameron!
Trinity a.k.a Naomi and Ariane a.k.a Cameron had a meeting with Senior Director of Talent Relations at WWE, Mark Carrano. He told them that they won't be a tag team anymore, Naomi will be competing in single matches and Ariane will be her Valet. Ariane was really mad about it. Naomi told her that they're friends and should always support each other.
Ariane later complained to Nattie and Eva backstage that she felt like she has worked hard for nothing. She went to the studio to record a song about WWE and get her mind off the upsetting news but she had a conversation with the guys where she expressed how worried she is about her career and started crying.
On the other side, Trinity was having lunch with her husband Jonathan Fatu a.k.a Jimmy Uso. He told her that the decision was for her own good and that she needs to be a solo competitor if she wants to be the divas champion one day but she was feeling bad about moving forward and leaving her friend behind.
During a WWE live event, Naomi had her first singles match while Ariane stood at ringside to cheer for her. Ariane didn't like it and said that she wanted to wrestle. Later that night, Ariane went to see Mark Carrano and told him that she's not happy with being her friend’s shadow. She thinks it would be best for her if she went back to NXT for further training and to improve her chances to become the divas champion one day. Mark told her that her decision was career changing and that if she goes back to NXT, she might not come back and she might lose her job as a WWE diva. Ariane thought it was a risk worth taking because she wanted to be taken as a serious performer.
She later announced the news to Trinity, Jon and Nikki backstage. Trinity pulled her aside and told her she was mad that she took the decision without asking her, that she's giving up on her and she's breaking up the team. Ariane thought she was just being selfish because she was getting her push anyway and it's Ariane who has to start her career from the scratch. Naomi told her that she will be successful with or without her and left.
The episode was good. Nikki is always scared of Cena's reactions and that's why she keeps hiding secrets from him. She should learn to trust him more because he has been nothing but supportive and understanding. Brie is all about family and worrying about the future so with Bryan's injury, things will be even more complicated for her and for Bryan who will be living in the fear of losing his dream and his career for the next few months.
Naomi and Cameron have been good friends for years. They have had their problems during the first 2 seasons of Total Divas but their friendship was stronger than all conflicts. At least to this point.
How will Bryan's injury affect his future with Brie?
