Acer brought huge updates to their Aspire lineup this week at IFA. Here's what's new for each laptop.
Aspire R13
This convertible notebook features a 13.3-inch touchscreen with a special hinge attaching it to the keyboard.
The user can choose between a 2560x1440 or 1920x1080 resolution display and between an Intel Skylake Core i7 or i5 processor.
As for storage, the device supports up to two SSDs and 8GB of RAM.
The R12 will be available in October starting at $899 USD.
Aspire V13
This computer features a 13-inch screen packing a 1366x768 resolution.
Users will have the choices of an Intel Skylake Core i3, i5, or i7 CPU. As for RAM, it supports up to 16GB. For interior storage, you can choose up to 1TB.
The device will be available in October starting at $599 USD.
Aspire V Nitro
This new laptop comes in both 15-inch and 17-inch display sizes and ships with a stunning 4K display.
It also comes with a breakthrough slot-antenna design that allows for 360-degree wireless connection with no "dead spots."
This laptop also allows you to choose between any of the Intel Skylake processors and supports up to 32GB of RAM.
Aspire U5
The Acer Aspire U5 all-in-one features a 10-point Full HD display (1920x1080 resolution) and a chassis measuring in at just 37mm.
It comes with either the Skylake i5 or i7 processor and up to 16gb RAM.
It also has a built-in Intel RealSense Camera that feeatures depth-sensing technology, allowing users to scan 3D objects, use gestures to control the PC, log into Windows 10 via Windows Hello and record stunning video.
Pricing and availability for the US is TBD.
