Lenovo made a few announcements at their IFA event which included three new smartphones and two new handsets that fit into the "phablet" category.
Officially announced today were the Vibe P1, Vibe P1m, Vibe S1, Phab, and Phab Plus. Below are summaries and full specifications for each device.
Vibe P1
The Vibe P1 has a 5.5-inch IPS LCD 1080p display as the front panel of a case that features an aluminium frame with Gorilla Glass 3 for high-level protection.
Inside, it contains an octa-core 64-bit 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor and a 5000mAh battery that supports reverse charging of other devices via USB.
The device features 2gb of RAM and 32gb on-board storage, which can be expanded to 128gb via a microSD slot. As for the camera, it sports a 12mp rear camera and a 5mp front-facing camera.
The phone will be available in early October for $279 USD.
Vibe P1m
The Vibe P1m has a 5-inch IPS LCD 720p display and a plastic build with a splash-proof nano.
The device encloses a 1.0GHz quad-core 64-bit MediaTek MT6735P processor and a 4000mAh battery that also supports reverse charging via USB.
It also features 2gb of RAM and an internal storage capacity of 16gb, which can be increased to 32gb via microSD. The rear camera is 8mp and the front camera is 5mp.
This phone will be available in mid-September for $159 USD.
Vibe S1
This 5-inch phone has an IPS LCD 1080p display with a metal and glass case.
The device has a 1.7GHz octa-core 64-bit MediaTEk MT6752 CPU anda 2500mAh non-removable battery. It also supports dual Nano SIM cards.
It has 3gb of ram and an internal storage capacity of 32gb and can be accepted up to 128gb via a microSD slot.
The rear camera is 13mp and the front camera is 8mp. The phone also features an additional front camera, which is 2mp, meant to replicate human binocular vision and provide new features such as refocusing, background blur, and cut-outs.
It will be available in November for $299 USD.
Phab
The Phab measures in at 6.8-inches and features a 720x1280 display and a plastic case.
It also packs a 1.2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor and a 4250mAh battery.
As for memory, it features 1gb of RAM and 16gb of storage, which is expandable via a microSD slot.
It features a 13mp rear camera and a 5mp front camera.
It will be available in September for $180 USD.
Phab Plus
The Phab Plus measures in at 6.98-inches and features a 1920x1080 display with an all-around metal case.
It packs a 1.7 GHz octa-core Snapdragon 615 processor and a 3500mAh battery.
It has 2gb of RAM and 32gb on-board storage, expandable via a microSD slot. It also features a 13mp rear camera and a 5mp front camera.
It will be available in September for $300 USD.
