Japanese blog Mac Otakara claims that the iPad Mini 4 could possibly share the features of the iPad Air 2 and could be released this September along with an iPad Air 3 and a possible iPad Pro.

The article claims the Air 3's main feature will be an A9 chip. The article also claims that the Mini 4 will have and 8 megapixel rear-facing iSight camera and be an incredible 6.1mm thin. However, the Mini 4 may be the last mini tablet from Apple, as the company's focus shifts toward the iPad Air and rumored Pro edition.

Speculation has been high that there would be an iPad Pro since the introduction of the first Air. Since there is a higher-end MacBook Pro and a simpler, slimmer MacBook Air, fans were led to assume the iPad Air would get a sister iPad Pro product. The iPad Pro is rumored to feature a 12.9-inch screen, a USB-C port and a 2732 x 2048 pixel resolution.

The introduction of three new iPads could be exactly what Apple needs. iPad sales have decreased over the last five consecutive quarters, and this could help them rebound from those drops in sales. There is no tangible evidence that we will get all three tablets this fall, but it doesn't hurt to speculate.

Only time will tell what Apple will produce this September. It's likely that we will get a Mini this year, but there's no solid evidence proving that Apple will decide to produce an iPad Air 3 or iPad Pro this year.
