When Season 3 of Liv and Maddie began with "Continued-A-Rooney," the time of Dove Cameron and together on the Disney Channel series officially concluded as McCartan's character, Diggy, continued with his plans to go to Australia.
Nevertheless, since the end of "Miggie," the inseparable couple debuted in their first movie together, R.L. Stine's Monsterville: The Cabinet of Souls (came out Tuesday), and set more "relationship goals" yesterday by releasing their first music single called "Written in the Stars."
The duo, now known as The Girl and The Dreamcatcher, made their song and music video available to the public at 12:00 AM EST on October 2, after the song debuted on Radio Disney's First Listen Thursday evening.
While fans have been waiting for what seems like forever when it comes to original music from Cameron and McCartan, "Written in the Stars" has not disappointed considering the music video had over 94,000 views as well as 12,000+ likes in less than 27 hours!
So what should we expect next? The possibilities are really endless! With both's talent and experience in acting, one should plan for more music videos to go along with new tracks from The Girl and the Dreamcatcher.

"Written in the Stars" is unlike anything ever heard from either artist. The beat is very futuristic while the words depict a journey. Obviously, music can be interpreted in different ways by different people, yet with Written in the Stars, this writer believes the track is ultimately about Dove Cameron and Ryan McCartan beginning a musical "story" together and not only accomplishing dreams but making their mark on the industry.
